Urge urinary incontinence (UUI) occurs when there is involuntary leak with the sense of urge. This is often associated with urinary frequency and urgency. This can be caused by dietary irritants, weak pelvic floor muscles, genetic factors, pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and childbirth, and the natural aging process. UUI can occur at any age as well and can even be an issue with children. We are able to offer patients medical therapy, as well as advanced treatment options with bladder Botox, Interstim neuromodulation therapy and Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation.
